We miss you lilo
“On the 12th September Rob Levin, known to many as Freenode’s lilo, was hit by a car while riding his bike. He suffered head injuries and was in a coma. Rob was being treated at the Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital in Houston, Texas where he passed away in on Sept 16th.
Our thoughts are with Rob and his family, and we ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.

He gave alot to everyone on freenode, and always had his trademark “lilo smiley”.. It wasn’t until I told my family and Emmie that it really fully hit me.. I am planning on donating to his son and wife to help them.. They shouldn’t have to suffer. It’s my way of letting them know that we are looking out for them. He deserved so much more. If there were more people like him, it’s possible the tragedy could have been avoided.
